Dr. Megan Bischer, DDS
Dr. Megan Bischer, a Bay City native, is the lead provider at Lavender
Dental Saginaw and is thrilled to serve her tri-city community and carry
on the traditions that Dr. Shattuck instituted. Her passion for dentistry
began at Bay City Western High School and deepened through the
Dental Occupations course at Bay Arenac Career Center.

She then worked as an orthodontic assistant with Dr. LeBourdais in Bay City. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Saginaw Valley State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Michigan.
Dr. Bischer, residing in Bay City with her husband, loves calling her birthplace "home" again. She enjoys golfing and boating in the Tri-Cities area.
Dr. Hannah Thomas, DDS
Dr. Hannah Thomas completed her undergraduate degree in
Biology and her Doctor of Dental Surgery through the
Accelerated 7-Year BS-DDS Program at the University of Detroit
Mercy. Her own experiences with orthodontics and general
dentistry showed her how meaningful patient–provider
relationships can be, inspiring her to pursue a career in dentistry.
During dental school, Dr. Thomas completed a rotation in the
Tri-City area and loved her time here, which makes her
especially excited to return and serve the community. As someone from Metro Detroit, she looks forward to getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their dental care.
Outside the office, she is active in her church’s Sunday School and Youth Group, and she enjoys dancing, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
​​​​​ Dr. Delynn Shattuck, DDS
Dr. Shattuck graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1983. She established her practice focused on thorough comprehensive exams conducted during patients’ first visit, which allowed for a detailed understanding of their dental health and prior experiences.
As word spread about the positive experiences in her office, the practice grew with referrals from satisfied patients, creating a welcoming and family-like atmosphere. With the support of skilled staff and associates, the practice has consistently provided high-quality care, addressing the diverse needs and concerns of patients.
Throughout her 39-year career, Dr. Shattuck pursued extensive Continuing Education, studying under renowned speakers and postgraduate educators in Dentistry. This advanced knowledge enabled her to offer phased care according to patients' budgets and perform numerous procedures in-office more efficiently, reducing the need for specialist referrals.
Dr. Shattuck specialized in cosmetic bonding for natural-looking repairs of broken front teeth and the creation of porcelain crowns and veneers in a single visit, minimizing time away from work and requiring only one numbing session.
The practice remains committed to delivering on the beliefs and values it began with—to provide optimal dental care to the Tri-City area and continuously strive to meet their dental needs effectively.
