Dr. Daniel Sumbal, DDS
Education: Dr. Daniel Sumbal earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Before dental school, he completed a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Grand Valley State University.

Dental Philosophy: His strong scientific background and compassionate approach to care allow him to provide patients with both skilled and understanding dental treatment. Dr. Sumbal’s early experience as a dental assistant helped shape his commitment to creating a comfortable, patient- focused environment where every visit feels personal and stress-free.

Outside of dentistry: Dr. Sumbal enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends throughout the Michigan community he’s proud to serve.

Dr. Katherine Cramer, DDS
Education: Dr. Cramer graduated from the University of Michigan in BioPsychology in 2006 and from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2010. She also has a 2-year certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Dental Philosophy: Dr. Cramer is a third-generation dentist. She fell in love with dentistry before she finished high school—her first start with dentistry as an assistant on her 12th birthday. She is passionate about furthering her education in dentistry and committed to fostering a fuller understanding and review of oral health with her patients. She most enjoys helping patients find ways to enjoy their smiles for life.
Dr. Cramer is a Kois Center graduate. Based in Seattle the Kois Center enhances the field of dentistry through science. Completing a nine-course program, dentists acquire new knowledge and abilities to care for patients including determining the best, most efficient, and most cost-effective treatments.
Outside the Office: Dr. Cramer loves spending time outdoors
and watching her three children grow. She also spoils two rescue
dogs and when time allows you can find her skiing or enjoying
time with horses.
