Dr. James Schmidt, DDS
Dr. James “Dr. J” Schmidt, is a Michigan native from Harper Woods. As an undergraduated he attened Wayne State University and majored in biology.
He earned his dental degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine, based in Westchester New York, and completed his residency at John D. Dingell Veterans Affairs Hospital right here in Detroit. He is dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Schmidt is a Certified Level Invisalign Provider with a special interest in clear aligner therapy and orthodontics. He looks forward to helping patients explore personalized options for straighter smiles.
Outside the office, Dr. Schmidt enjoys time with family and pets (two cats and two dogs), cooking, trying new restaurants, gardening, and traveling.
